The National Union of Architects and Construction Engineers of Cuba – UNAICC, together with its Specialized Societies and the Provincial Board of Directors – JDP of Matanzas, periodically organizes and celebrates the International Engineering Conventions in Cuba – CIIC. It was up to 2020 to hold the VI CIIC, which was impossible due to the sanitary measures taken on the Island to mitigate and eradicate the Covid pandemic. The Organizing Committee, the Unaicc Events Directorate and the Board of Directors of Matanzas have considered that it is an opportune moment to celebrate, from October 20 to 23, 2022, in the resort of Varadero, Matanzas, Cuba, the VI International Convention of Engineering in Cuba. We invite you, from now on, to start programming to participate in this, the most important event of Cuban engineering. Combining experience and practice from their daily work and exposing their experiences and research can contribute to making safe, resilient and sustainable engineering a reality, to which the VCIIC 2018 called us, now with a new slogan: THE ROLE OF ENGINEERS TODAY, .. .FOR A BETTER WORLD, focused on the fulfillment of the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals, and integrating its economic, social and environmental dimensions, where engineering plays a leading role.
In addition, exchanges of Gender and Young Engineers will be scheduled among the participants of CIIC 2022, and important personalities from science and engineering will give their lectures on the themes of the forums, the 2030 Agenda and those of Sustainable Development.
