The 2030 Agenda constitutes an intergovernmental commitment and an action plan in favor of people, the planet and prosperity. It includes 17 sustainable development goals, which describe humanity’s main development challenges, combining the three dimensions of Sustainable Development: economic, social and environmental. Its purpose is to ensure a sustainable, peaceful, prosperous and just life on earth for all, now and in the future.
The great efforts made by nations and Cuba in particular, to comply with these objectives and direct all their efforts from science to achieve it, have been permeated by the serious problems and challenges facing the world, aggravated by the effects caused by the COVID-19. In this sense, educational systems have been committed to making enormous efforts to promote learning opportunities for all and guarantee an inclusive, equitable and quality education in different contexts, using for this the results of science, technology and information. innovation in all areas of knowledge, from a sustainable development perspective, that educates and prepares man to adjust to his time and his reality.
Under the precept that «A better world is possible» and recognizing the work of education professionals and the importance of the results of the educational research they carry out, to achieve the aspirations declared in the Sustainable Development Goal 4, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Cuba and the Convention Center of Havana, have the pleasure of inviting you to participate in the 2023 International Pedagogy Congress, on the occasion of celebrating its eighteenth edition, from January 30 to February 3, 2023, which will take place in Havana, Cuba.
On this occasion, it will be held in a hybrid mode, consolidating the essence of these meetings as spaces for the socialization of scientific knowledge, for dialogue, for the exchange of good practices and values, for establishing strategies and agreements between institutions, for promoting communication and interaction between teachers, managers and students from different countries, all to help raise the quality of education.
